Relax, Unwind and Chill Out at Tinagong Dagat, Sipalay City

It takes 5 hours or travel from Bacolod to Tinagong Dagat, Sipalay City if you ride a bus. It’s better if you have your own SUV or Van so that you’ll have time to stop over in some nice places like Kabankalan and Cauayan to have your picture taken. The view is really nice. They used to call it La Isla Bonita but it’s now actually known as Tinagong Dagat.

The highlights of the place are the breathtaking views, clean rooms and exclusive use of the swimming pools for guests but the things that I don't like that they have no Wi-Fi access and I almost die because I can't play Clash of Clans! LOL :D also poor customer service, limited cable TV channels and less sockets.

The rooms are affordable ranging from 1200 – 1650 pesos. I can say, it’s clean and offers a good view, overlooking the sea and the islets. They have also an open room which is 200 pesos/bed. We take one room for our stuff that is good for 4 – 6 persons but we decided to sleep in an open room for us to sleep together because totally we're 14 came in Tinagong Dagat.

Here's something I have to share, one thing I loved the most about the place aside from the breathtaking view is the bridge connecting the two islets. I really find it romantic as well at night if there are colored bulbs swinging on the bridge just like what I've watched in movies and it’s also a perfect aisle for my weddings lol :D I mean for weddings. Yeah here I go again imagining wedding stuffs. Anyways, I wished I was able to jump into the clear waters, the only problem was that it was low tide when we came but when it's high tide, the pool on the other side of the islet seems to be an infinity pool. It’s really scenic as it overlooks the open sea.

I live to chill and wander to places I’ve never been to. There for, Tinagong Dagat is one of the best place to relax, chill out unwind and destress your mind. People need a vacation to recharge and be in one with ourselves again. Who wouldn’t spend a quiet time in the afternoon enjoying the clear waters?

Again, who wouldn't? ;)

Horse Back Riding in Tagaytay ;)

Tagaytay is a less than a two-hour drive away from Manila, which makes it the perfect venue for quick out of town trip to de-stress. The Tagaytay cool breeze makes the experience even better and doubling it with an amazing view of the Taal landscape makes it near to perfection. But with more than a handful of activities to do in the cool city, one of the deemed favorites is horseback riding in Tagaytay.

My sister and I have no regret of riding a horse, it's quite expensive because it cost 350 pesos per horse or ride. During the horse ride there is someone to assist you, it can also as a local guide. There are so many horses in the island, and the price were all the same is fixed price, nobody can't haggle.During the horse ride those local guide can give some information about the island. The island is depending on the tourism. The richest man in the island own 600 horses and one of the horse is the one we rode. This people pulling horses don't earn much, they also depending on the tips of the tourist. Imagine they walk all the way to the highest point of Taal Island. I have great empathy with these people. At the end of our tour we gave him 100 pesos, so as his colleague. It is not obligated to give a tip, the horse ride is already too much, but if you have a golden heart these people has a family to feed. Going up and down from and to the highest point of the island is really difficult job.
